Adventures with AI
AI technologies are all around us. It has deeply impacted how we live and work. With the onset of pervasive generative AI technologies, we want to make sure that girls understand what AI and Generative AI are all about so that they can leverage it with care and caution.
This course aims to introduce the learners to the fundamentals and practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to understand and utilize AI technologies responsibly and creatively. The learners will develop an age-appropriate understanding of this new technology - how it works, its advantages and limitations, how to use it creatively, and also think critically about it. They will explore AI tools, including ChatGPT and AI image generators, learn about prompt engineering, and critically evaluate the societal impacts and future trends of AI.
